As a queer photographer from Highland Park, Ruth Gutierrez has been a lover of art since she was little. Constantly experimenting with different mediums like fashion and painting, her own bedroom serves as a place to showcase her latest creations. Getting inspiration from movie clips, magazines, and the world as awhole, Ruth likes to mess with the things she sees and make it her own. It was in 2016 when Ruth first discovered her love of photography and she hasn't looked back since, playing and expanding her point of view with both film and digital formats, merging them together. Most recently, she has completed an internship with the Getty Museum and aims to continue working in the creative arts.
